Get The Look
While the performances were astounding, we've got to admit that sometimes the costumes stole the show. Yellowstone took its inspiration from some of the most fabulous modern and traditional western fashion trends, and we just had to celebrate our favorites. Plus, we got an exclusive interview with the woman that makes it all happen — Yellowstone costume designer Johnetta Boone.
Talking Yellowstone Looks With Costume Designer Johnetta Boone
C&I visits again with Yellowstone costume designer Johnetta Boone to talk about the looks, the inspiration, and how life imitates art.
Kevin Costner's John Dutton holds his Western values constant, just like his style.
Through Yellowstone’s ups and downs, one look has us excited for more — Beth Dutton.
Do you love what Luke Grimes is wearing on the November/December C&I cover? Here's what you need to recreate the look, just in time for the new season of Yellowstone.
It takes a lot of courage, heart, and an eye for style to walk two paths like Monica Dutton does.
We love us some drama, budding ranch relationships, and Teeter's classic cowgirl style.
Our Favorite Moments
And finally ... no comprehensive guide would be complete without a look back at some of our favorite moments in the series over all. Here are some Yellowstone episode recaps.
We all remember this gut-wrenching episode on the tail end of Season 5. A brief stint in the pokey hasn’t done much to help Beth acquire some semblance of impulse control. Jamie is pushed close to the edge by one woman, and easily manipulated by another. And John discovers that politics can make for strange but not altogether unpleasant bedfellows. What are we to make of all this? Here are our five takeaways from “Horses in Heaven,” Episode 504 of Yellowstone.
Season 5's midseason finale did not pull a single punch. Chaos ensues as the strained (to say the least) relationship between Jamie and Beth comes to a head as Jamie goes through with his plan with more than a little help from Sarah. As Beth tries to intervene in Jamie plan to impeach John, Jamie makes the ultimate threat to reveal the many secrets (and dead bodies) that the Duttons have collected over the season. Here are some of our thoughts on “A Knife and No Coin,” Episode 508 of Yellowstone.
“Grass On The Streets and Weeds on the Rooftops” (410)
If there's one thing we can expect from this series, it's that no one holds back in the season finale. In the fourth season's final episode, we bid goodbye to two characters — one, permanently — and see the stage set for a battle even Beth will be hard-pressed to win. What are we to make of all this? Here are our five takeaways from “Grass On The Streets and Weeds on the Rooftops,” Episode 410 — the supersized Season 4 Finale — of Yellowstone.
Sometimes it's the more simplistic episodes that pack the biggest punch. In this episode of Season 4, reader favorite Mo Brings Plenty got to shine for a moment. Kayce teams with Mo to find the horses that were driven from the reservation, Beth take charge in ways that only Beth can, and John more or less drafts himself — reluctantly — for public office. What are we to make of all this? Here are our five takeaways from “Keep the Wolves Close,” Episode 407 of Yellowstone.
"One Hundred Years is Nothing" (501)
While each season of Yellowstone seems to outdo itself, the premiere episode of Season 5 leapt out of the bucking chute with guns blazing. John Dutton has been elected governor — but he doesn’t appear to be very happy about it. Market Equities CEO Caroline Warner is positively furious about John’s plans to shut down her land development, and vows to bring in heavy artillery. Kayce deals with a devastating personal tragedy, but fears even worse events my lie ahead. What are we to make of this? Here are our five takeaways from the two-part Season 5 premiere of Yellowstone.
