Sundown in Pendleton
Belinda Bell's painting pays tribute to Native American cowboy Jackson Sundown, the 1916 saddle bronc champion at the Pendleton Round-Up.

In a contemporary and colorful style, Bell portrays Sundown proudly posing in full rodeo gear, while a small silhouette of him on a bronc displays the word weyekin, meaning "one with the horses." The original and fine art prints are available at the Rock'n G Ranch in Pendleton, Oregon, and prints will also be sold at the 2010 Pendleton Round-Up in celebration of the rodeo's 100th anniversary.
