Ed Harris and Michael Martin Murphey were among the notables honored at the 65th annual event.
See Ed Harris enjoying memories of his classic westerns! Hear Reba McEntire sing one of her biggest hits! Feel the emotions as farewell tributes are paid to Robert Duvall, Graham Greene, and Robert Carradine!
If you missed these highlights last weekend during the 2026 Western Heritage Awards at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City — or if you would like to enjoy them again — here is your chance to savor the excitement through the modern miracle of video.
On Saturday, April 11, actor Rex Linn (CSI: Miami, Happy’s Place) hosted an afternoon Q&A session with Ed Harris — one of the 2026 inductees in the museum’s Hall of Great Western Performers — before an enthusiastic museum audience. And yes, rest assured: Appaloosa popped up in the conversation.
Later that evening, Linn served as M.C. for the Western Heritage Awards ceremony — during which he teasingly coaxed Reba McEntire, his fiancée and Happy’s Place co-star, to sing a bit of “Take It Back.”
