Elle King will co-host the star-studded country-flavored extravaganza.
More than 50 performances aired live from Music City will enable viewers to ring in 2024 on a country-flavored note when CBS airs and Paramount+ streams New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash on Sunday, Dec. 31. The two-part extravaganza, hosted by Grammy-nominated artist Elle King (pictured above) and Rachel Smith of Entertainment Tonight, will run from 7:30 pm to 10 pm ET, and continue from 10:30 pm to 1:05 am ET.
Among the notables who’ll be joining the fun: Trace Adkins, Lainey Wilson, Grace Bowers, Kane Brown, Jackson Dean, HARDY, Cody Johnson, Parker McCollum, Megan Moroney, Brothers Osborne, Jon Pardi, Carly Pearce, Blake Shelton, Trombone Shorty, Morgan Wallen, Bailey Zimmerman, Old Dominion, Thomas Rhett, and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
And if you’re a traditionalist who just can’t image celebrating New Year’s Eve without seeing that big ball drop in Manhattan, don’t fret: CMT television and radio host Cody Alan and CBS anchor Lonnie Quinn will offering periodic live reports from New York City’s Times Square, along with Dustin Lynch, who’ll also be performing live. After everyone sings “Auld Lang Syne” in The Big Apple, the party will return to Nashville until 12 midnight CT, climaxing with the Music Note Drop at the Bicentennial Mall stage.
