The award-winning country/bluegrass artists made their Grand Ole Opry debut Wednesday evening.
Congratulations to The Kody Norris Show, the award-winning and exuberantly entertaining country/bluegrass group comprised of Norris on guitar; his fiddling “sweetie,” Mary Rachel Nalley-Norris; Josiah Tyree on banjo; and Cousin Charlie Lowman on the bass. They made their Grand Ole Opry debut Wednesday evening, after being invited to perform at the country music mecca by bluegrass queen Rhonda Vincent during the group’s appearance last month at Ryman Auditorium.
“I would have waited a million lifetimes to be asked to make our Grand Ole Opry debut the way it happened,” said Kody Norris. “To play the Ryman and the Grand Ole Opry within the same month is literally a dream come true.”
C&I has premiered two music videos for songs — “I Call Her Sunshine” and “Let All the Girls Know You’re a Cowboy” — from the Kody Norris Show’s recently released album Rhinestone Revival. The LP is set for release on vinyl Friday in both traditional and limited-edition orange versions.
“To have an album coming out on vinyl is something all musicians dream about” said Mary Rachel Nalley-Norris, “but the fact that Rebel Records is offering the classic black and an exclusive Sunburst Tangerine vinyl just adds to it. We hope you’ll collect both today.”
Here is the music video for the Kody Norris Show’s latest single, “Fiddler’s Rock.”
