At age 80, the 1923 star shows no sign of slowing down.
We must admit: It’s great to wake up on a Sunday morning and spend some time with Harrison Ford. That’s why we roll out of bed as early as possible whenever there’s a new episode of 1923 available for streaming on Paramount+.
Unfortunately, 1923 is on a midseason hiatus right now, so we’re we’ll to wait until Feb. 5 for the next exciting installment. Thanks to CBS Sunday Morning, however, we were able to get our fix of Ford earlier today during an interview Turner Classic Movies host Ben Mankiewicz conducted with the superstar at Ford’s home in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
They chatted about the upcoming Indiana Jones sequel — yes, Ford will be cracking the whip again this summer at theaters and drive-ins everywhere — and other highlights of the actor’s career, along with everything else that’s keeping him busy these days. (At age 80, he’s about to tackle his first sitcom, with a role in Apple TV’s Shrinking.) Ford admitted he didn’t need much convincing to sign on for 1923 once producer Taylor Sheridan gave him an early look at what the Yellowstone prequel was all about. “I was knocked out when I got the scripts,” Ford said. “The ambition and the bold storytelling — it’s audacious.” We agree.
What’s that? You say you weren’t up early enough to watch the CBS Sunday Morning segment? Well, we can certainly help you catch up.
