Watch Harrison Ford on horseback in a first-look trailer? Don't mind if we do.
Looks like we won’t have to wait until the Dec. 18 premiere of 1923 to see Harrison Ford on horseback again. They dropped the first trailer today for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, the fifth action-adventure featuring Ford as the swashbuckling archaeologist hero. And even though Indy obviously has aged a bit since Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008) — well, haven’t we all? Besides, this preview promises that the movie, directed by James Mangold (Walk the Line, 3:10 to Yuma) and set for a June 30, 2023 release, will have Indy galloping through the streets and subway tunnels of New York, and once more cracking his whip like he was Lash LaRue on steroids.
