The Duffy Ranch is one of the most pristine properties in the Pacific Northwest and was the longtime home of Patrick and his late wife, Carlyn.
Although Bobby Ewing called Southfork Ranch home in the ’80s hit television series Dallas, the actor who played him preferred a quiet riverside ranch just outside Medford, Oregon.
It’s now on the market for $14 million.
Patrick Duffy first visited the 390-acre property in 1989 on a fishing trip with the late actor Larry Hagman. Following the purchase of the property, Duffy and his wife, Carlyn, eventually moved from Los Angeles to make the Duffy Ranch their primary residence.
The property sits along two miles of the Rogue River, offering unique privacy and security. It includes 14 parcels and seven homes, some of which provide rental income, but it’s the lodge-style primary residence that reflects a cozy home life and the Duffys’ appreciation for art and nature.
It sits on 79 riverfront acres and has countless custom touches, including a spa cabin, wine cave, and beautiful garden. The Duffys also converted a parking structure into an art gallery to hold their extensive collection of American art, the sale of which was entrusted to Sotheby’s in 2018.
In addition to the beautiful main house, there are two guest houses on the property, more than 100 acres of irrigated land, and a two-acre pond. An elk herd also calls the ranch home, and it’s not uncommon to see turkeys in the yard.
The property is listed with Alan DeVries of Cascade Hasson Sotheby’s International Realty and is touted as a rare, special slice of the Pacific Northwest.
Duffy’s Dallas costar Linda Gray put her three-acre Oak Tree Ranch in Santa Clarita, California, on the market earlier this year.
