The winter lodge look finds its fireside form in shearling furs, tawny leathers, blanket prints, and classic plaids.
There were no snow machines available, but that didn’t stop the pursuit of après-ski inspiration for our 2019 fall fashion shoot. Honey Hollow Ranch, a log cabin-esque wedding and special events venue resplendent with stone hearths and knotty pine, served as the moody mountainside backdrop for this annual C&I photoshoot.

Located in North Texas, the secluded 53-acre Honey Hollow Ranch normally highlights its natural surroundings: green pastures, oak trees, rolling hills, a running creek — even the aptly named Sagebrush Café, which catered a gorgeous lunchtime spread to grateful photographers, stylists, models, and so on. However, to fulfill the sartorial vision for this fashion feature, focus shifted to the glowing, fireside interiors and lodge-like exteriors that also happen to evoke a cozy Colorado winter.
Of course, a handy helping of snowshoes, Aspen birch, and fur-trimmed anything goes a long way, too.
