Keeping up with fashion is a full-time job, but have no fear: We’ve rounded up some upcoming trends you can bet on.
We spent a day at Dallas Market Center during Western apparel market to get a feel for what we can expect in stores for 2020. The trends we saw coming up were vibrant, fun, and bold. Think modern Southwest with a touch of edge.
For some outfit inspiration, check out our favorite trends and products below.
SOUTHWESTERN HUES
One of our favorite trends was the mix of earthy Southwestern hues reminiscent of Santa Fe pueblos and desert landscapes. Brick red, bold turquoise, rust orange, and harvest gold were seen from boots to serape print pants to colored felt hats. Mixed with classic Western neutrals, this color palette complements leather and silver accessories that are sure to be in your closet already.

PATTERN MIXING
Calling all showstoppers: This bold trend was made for you to dazzle the room! Pattern mixing between classic and contemporary materials makes for fabulous, unique combinations. We love when brands dig into their creativity and bring statements to the table, and this trend dives into the deep end of fun styling. We’re seeing spring 2020 mimicking high-fashion runways here, as they love to mix Western motifs into elevated styling.

INDUSTRIAL DETAILS
Studs and hammered nails have been a Western look for ages, but we love how they’re being presented this year. For a modern look, grab a handbag detailed with hammered nails or slip on a classic studded boot to add a moto-inspired edge to your wardrobe. This trend is also very versatile, as hardware looks great with every color and can be dressed up or down for any occasion.
