Rodeos are more than eight-second rides and record-breaking runs — they’re also a runway for Western fashion. And the bigger the rodeo, the better the fashion. This was evident at the 2025 American Rodeo in Arlington, Texas, where rodeo fans, fashion influencers, and celebrities came dressed to impress.
“Rodeo fans from all parts of the industry cheered on their favorites in their own Western style: fringe, sequins, handmade leather pieces, turquoise jewelry, denim, boots, and even buckles they won themselves,” said Western fashion influencer Brianna Purvis. “It was a night of fashion, passion, and pride for the sport they love.”
During the two-day event, the C&I crew was on the lookout for the best fashion moments in the arena. From classic Ralph Lauren-inspired looks to bedazzled outfits, here are the show-stopping looks that caught our attention.

Western Glamour
A formal gown might not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of rodeo fashion, but Kensee Auld’s glamorous look shows there are no rules when it comes to personal style. She paired the glitzy dress with cowboy boots from Old Gringo and star earrings that nod to the rodeo’s iconic logo.

A Modern Twist
Although Heather Welper’s look included traditional Western elements like denim and a cowboy hat, it was anything but basic. The skirt’s rosette and ruffles added the perfect modern twist for the richest weekend in rodeo.
