Executive producer Taylor Sheridan’s new unscripted series about competitive reiners premieres Wednesday after his top-rated drama starring Kevin Costner.
Call it a case of crossover episodes, and you won’t be far off the mark. The Last Cowboy, executive producer Taylor Sheridan’s new unscripted series about competitors in the high-stakes world of elite horsemanship, will kick off Wednesday on Paramount Network. And just to make sure the show gets a great send-off, Sheridan is taking a personal approach to plugging his latest endeavor.
Sheridan — whose feature film credits include Hell or High Water and Wind River — also is co-creator and executive producer of Yellowstone, the smash-hit drama starring Kevin Costner, Cole Hauser, Luke Grimes, Wes Bentley, Kelly Reilly and Gil Birmingham. And he’ll be appearing on that series this Wednesday in his continuing role as Travis Wheatley — that’s him in the above photo with the cowboy T-shirt — in an episode that features Matt Mills, Tom McCutcheon and his son Cade McCutcheon, three of the reiners who appear in The Last Cowboy.
Yellowstone airs at 10 pm ET/9pm CT Wednesday on Paramount Network, followed by The Last Cowboy at 11 pm ET/10 pm CT. Pretty smooth, huh?
