Some light summer fare - including more than a few classics - to help kick the weekend off right.
You might misread that title and think that we're offering a playlist to celebrate the Miami Heat's NBA Finals victory. Hey, if that works for you, go with it. But we try not to get too involved in politics or basketball.
Here's the truth: Summer got its official start this week. Temperatures are rising in much of the country. In a matter of weeks, many of us will be too miserable to set foot outside the house (or the saloon).
It's already getting to the point where you need that extra bit of musical motivation to gear up for a weekend of activity. So, that's where we come in. For your listening pleasure, we've collected some light, summertime-ready songs from a few of our favorite artists.
