Free for you to view on Hulu.com: The Old Corral, a 1936 production starring Gene Autry as a small-town Western sheriff attracted to a Chicago singer (Irene Manning -- billed here as Hope Manning) who's on the run after witnessing a violent crime committed by big-city bad guys. Look carefully, and you'll see an incredibly young Roy Rogers -- singing alongside The Sons of the Pioneers -- and a pre-Wolf Man Lon Chaney Jr. as an ineffectual villain.
