New Tunes Playlist: February 2013

We're only a few weeks into the new year and there's already a daunting pile of new releases from the worlds of country, Americana, and folk.

Fresh full-length albums from Tim McGraw, Randy Houser, Holly Williams, and Gary Allan have country stalwarts abuzz. Interesting cover tunes speak to new directions for Terri Clark and Natalie Maines. Former C&I cover gal Jewel (pictured) put out a strong greatest hits collection this week featuring duets with Kelly Clarkson and Pistol Annies. And the radio stations are spinning singles by Lonestar, Blake Shelton, X-Factor winner Tate Stevens, and newcomers Austin Webb and Rose Falcon.

I've thrown personal favorites from many of the new releases into this edition of our New Tunes Playlist on Spotify. If you don't have a Spotify free account, you need to sign up. It's so worth it. Once you're signed up, enjoy the playlist below and more from our archives.
