Cast members lightened the mood between scenes of the intensely dramatic Season 4.
For those of you who have always wanted to see Kiowa Gordon (pictured above) do some heavy-duty twerking – and you know who you are, so don’t try to be coy about it – we wanted to share a behind-the-scenes video from the location filming of Dark Winds.
To lighten the mood between takes during production of the recently concluded Season 4, Gordon, Zahn McClarnon, and Jessica Matten often engaged in madcap activity of various sorts.
Mind you, McClarnon occasionally appears unamused in this video while his co-stars are moving and grooving. But once he gets his hands on a boombox – well, let’s just say he joins in the fun. Without twerking, however.
By the way: If you missed any or all of the Season 4 episodes of Dark Winds, they’re now available on AMC+. And we hear from reliable sources that they’ll also pop up on Netflix in or around July 2026.
