Western art power couple Mark Maggiori and Petechia Le Fawnhawk bring their love of the West to Austin with Far West.
Before you head out for this swooniest of art shows, you’d better pack the smelling salts in the saddlebag because this has got to be the sexiest and possibly most substantial show on the whole 2025 calendar. The second installment of a buzzy new franchise that debuted to acclaim in New York in 2024, Far West is the brainchild of Western-art man-of-the-moment Mark Maggiori and his wife, Petecia Le Fawnhawk.

The Maggioris are passionate about the American West. You could not dream up a cooler power couple — sort of the Bono and Ali Hewson of the Western art world. He: originally from France, former frontman of the metal band Pleymon, now a rock star of the Western art world whose paintings command serious shekels. She: from Texas, a designer who then shifted to fine art, making large-scale sculpture, digital media, fashion, and music. The romantic back story: They met on a film set in the Mojave Desert and eventually married and had a daughter. Their shared path since has taken them from L.A. to Taos to Arizona. And now, they’re taking their show on the road with these Far West exhibitions and sales.
“This show takes an artists-first approach with a vision of a more equitable share for the creators,” Maggiori says. “As artists ourselves, we wanted to come up with a model where the artist benefits most.”
