We want to celebrate the west through your eyes. Enter our annual photo contest today.
What’s your particular view of the American West?
What image is projected inside your mind when you consider our glorious region? Is it a perfectly framed landscape shot from past travels in the mountains or the desert? Does it depict your cherished friends and family on horseback, working land, or riding the trail? Does it honor the dogs or horses or cows or other four-legged friends who support and love us on homes and ranches every day?
Everyone’s view of the West is different, and we want to see yours.
“The Wilds,” Nancy Florence (Carson City, Nevada)
We’re calling this year’s reader photograph contest “THE WEST FROM HERE.”
We’re giving every entrant one shot to show us their best view of the American West. That’s right: You’ve got one shot (literally, each entrant is allowed one photo to submit), so you’d better make it count.
You also have a short time to submit – we’re taking entries from September 1 to October 1, and the winner will be revealed in a future issue of C&I. The winning shot will be chosen by editorial staff and expert judges, and the winning photographer will receive a $1,000 prize, a subscription to the magazine, and the chance to get the winning photo in print.
“Swirling Indigenous,” Chad Coppess (Pierre, South Dakota)
So, we ask again: What’s your view of the West? We’re all eyes.
