With a renovated Silverton and plenty of night-out options for cowboys and cowgirls, Las Vegas’ summer vibe has never been more Western.
Las Vegas’ Silverton Casino Lodge is a familiar haunt for Western enthusiasts who attend the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo every December. The casino’s dark-toned lodge décor, the beloved Twin Creeks Steakhouse on site, and a remarkably large saltwater aquarium attraction are a few of the amenities that make it an ideal hangout night after night.
There’s always an opportunity for evolution, though, and the Silverton has undergone one in recent years — with changes inspired by another hotel across the West, that took the idea of “luxury lodge” to another level. Sister property Hotel Drover in Fort Worth opened in 2021 with elevated Western design and high-end amenities and gathering spaces. It quickly became a central gathering place in the city’s historic Stockyards. The team at the Silverton saw this unfold and embarked upon their own redesign project with an eye toward greater detail and glamour.
Aged and weathered furniture help define the look of the Silverton’s Rustic Modern collection, one of three new renovated room styles.
In fact, the hotel and casino’s staff refers to the newly renovated guest rooms as “cowboy-glam.” There are three brand new room experiences guests can choose when booking. The Cowboy Kitsch Collection features “a quirky blend of rustic chic,” the Rustic Modern Collection rooms have “natural, aged, and weathered furnishings,” and the Refined Lodge Collection is inspired by the “legendary cattle baron homes found in the West.”
The new rooms are just part of Silverton’s makeover, which includes new wine-tasting and happy-hour experiences for guests, and a remodeled backyard and pool area dubbed “The Swimming Hole.”
