The legendary Reba McEntire graces the screen once again, this time in ABC western crime drama, Big Sky.
We're always thrilled to see former cover star Reba McEntire grace our screens. Since starring in the beloved sitcoms Reba and Malibu Country, she's stayed busy outside of her legendary music career, making TV movies and popping up in a key scene of the comedic movie Barb & Star Go To Vista Del Mar.
And now, she's bringing her big personality to and playing the possible villain role on a new season of ABC's hit West-set drama Big Sky. She stopped into GMA yesterday to preview the show, in which she's starring opposite her real-life partner Rex Linn.
On working with him in the ABC show, she told the hosts, "We have a blast! We've been working together since '91."
A little about Big Sky, if you haven't seen it: It's a crime drama series created by noted TV giant David E. Kelley, and it's based on a series of novels by modern western great CJ Box. It was one of the highest rated new series its first two seasons, and is upping the ante significantly for its third, subtitled "Deadly Trails."
We're intrigued to see what Reba brings to the table — we're sure her always impressive acting chops will be a boon for the series. See her interview with GMA below, and see a full trailer below that. The series' new season premieres tonight on ABC.
