Put your boots up, sit a spell, share a story, all while sipping on this whiskey-based recipe from Johnson County Distillery.
What’s more whiskey than naming a bourbon after your grandfather? Pretty much nothing. And that’s what Todd Kauffman did with his Jacob Weldon Blended Bourbon Whiskey produced at Kauffman’s Johnson County Distillery in Cleburne, Texas. “Jacob Weldon was my grandfather, his passion for whiskey and family was the inspiration behind the name of the whiskey,” he says. “Jake absolutely loved family gatherings around Christmas time and he loved to entertain while being the center of attention. He was a man of a many of words ... Jake was always a lot of fun to be around! My whiskeys now, and in the future, will always be a tribute to Jake.”
