Salud, y’all!
Here’s a collection of end-of-summer sippers for the Labor Day lushes. Perhaps mixing up one of these cocktails will make the weekend feel longer.
Ruby Paloma
2 ounces Deep Eddy Ruby Red Vodka
1 ounce silver tequila (100% agave preferred)
2 ounces lemon-lime soda
2 ounces club soda
Lime garnish, salt rim (optional)
Pour ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a glass. Garnish with lime.
Capri-Sundays

2 ounces vodka
1 ounce Aperol
1 ounce lime
1 ounce simple syrup
1½ ounces grapefruit juice
Combine all ingredients and pour into 16 ounces Capri Sun bag.
Texas Ranch Water

1½ ounces Dulce Vida Blanco
3 ounces Topo Chico (or club soda)
Half of a lime’s juice
Ice
Lime wedge, for garnish.
Pour Dulce Vida Blanco, Topo Chico, and lime juice into an ice-filled glass. Stir to mix well. Garnish with lime and enjoy.
Lemonberry

1½ ounces TX Whiskey
½ ounce raspberry liqueur
1 ounce lemonade
Combine ingredients into a glass. Stir and add ice.
All American Sweet Tea

2 ounces American Whiskey
4 ounces homemade sweet tea
2 ounces freshly squeezed
lemonade
Lemon wheel, for garnish
Pour American Whiskey over ice in a Collins glass. Top with sweet tea and lemonade. Garnish with lemon wheel.
