Up-and-coming singer-songwriter Ryan Hurd will join Florida Georgia Line on their Smooth tour.
Labeled as “One to Watch,” by Pandora, Rolling Stone, Huffington Post, and CMT, Ryan Hurd is soaking up the success of his debut self-titled EP. With more than 30 million streams and the hit song “We Do Us,” Hurd is making a big transition from country songwriter for big names like Blake Shelton, Dierks Bentley, Jake Owen, Maren Morris, Tim McGraw, and FGL, to booming solo artist.
Earlier this year, the Kalamazoo, Michigan, native joined Grammy winner and fellow singer-songwriter Maren Morris on her sold-out Hero tour. And he just recently wrapped his gig on Thomas Rhett’s sold-out Home Team tour, which Rolling Stone had deemed “one of the most anticipated tours of the year”; Hurd, alongside Rhett, Kelsea Ballerini, and Russell Dickerson, capped off the tour with an energetic two-night run at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater.
Now, Hurd is adding new dates to his tour. Beginning June 15, in Wantagh, New York, Hurd will be hitting the road with Florida Georgia Line for 14 concert dates on their 2017 Smooth tour. He’ll also being playing solo performances at top country festivals this summer, including Windy City Smokeout in Chicago and Country Thunder in Nashville. In the fall, Hurd will rejoin Morris on the European leg of her Hero tour.
