Founded by fifth-generation shoemaker and craftsman, C.H. Hyer, the family lost the business in the 1970s before launching a remarkable comeback in 2023, when Zach Lawless, the great-great-grandson of C.H. Hyer, reclaimed the HYER Boots name.
