Country stars showed up and showed out on the red carpet of the 2024 ACM Awards.
As the saying goes, “The stars at night are big and bright, deep in the heart of Texas.” And the brightest stars in country music donned their finest for the 2024 Academy of Country Music Awards at The Star in Frisco, Texas.
Hosted by 16-time ACM Award-winning entertainer Reba McEntire, the awards show, in collaboration with Prime Video, is the longest running awards show in country music. For emerging talent, the ACM Awards are a way to formally introduce yourself to the who’s who in the country music industry.
Singer-songwriter Shaboozey made his red carpet debut in Louis Vuitton Men’s Fall-Winter 2024.

The collection designed by music icon Pharrell Williams was previously worn by Beyoncé Giselle Knowles Carter at the 66th Grammy Awards. Williams’ “drew inspiration from his home state to present a particularly thematic collection..” Like Shaboozey, their mutual home state of Virginia serves as a template for Williams on how to combine American identity with contemporary aesthetics.
The outfit’s turquoise buttons were on trend with the majority of looks from the night. Thomas Rhett donned a turquoise bolo tie to bring a pop color to his dark blue three-piece suit. Miranda Lambert complimented her deep-cut Roberto Cavalli black dress with an array of silver and turquoise jewelry. Lainey Wilson used a pair of earrings to break up her fiery red Area double breasted suit, putting her own spin on this year’s red trend.

Although the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony is many months away, the outlaw, punk rock energy was felt in a plethora of looks at the ACM Awards. From O.N.E. The Duo to P1Harmony, the first K-pop band in history to attend the awards, their looks were embellished with buckles, shimmering fringe, and bold silver statement pieces that garnered a plethora of attention. INK combined two of the night’s hottest trends: turquoise and punk rock, into their own signature look, which feels like a modern day interpretation of a wild west outlaw.

Rounding out the carpet were stars in assorted hues of blue and yellow. Tiera Kennedy stole the night in a cobalt blue Mac Duggal jumpsuit. Dani Rose brightened up the ACM Awards in a neon yellow Terani Couture off the shoulder dress.

If there is one takeaway from the 59th ACM Awards red carpet is that country music, specifically country fashion, is in an evolutionary phase. As the genre continues to grow, the outfits will serve as indicator of what’s next to come.
