Reba McEntire chats with Adrian Brannan about rodeo and her Tennessee ranch and gives advice at the Western Heritage Awards.
Country legend Reba McEntire was interviewed by fellow country singer and songwriter Adrian Brannan before she was honored with the 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award at the Western Heritage Awards. The National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City hosts the Western Heritage Awards every year, honoring Western film, music, and art.

Reba grew up in the ranching community.
She has tremendous respect for the agricultural community and their hard work. It taught her how to be coachable and always to give 110%.
She advises always loving and respecting yourself.
“Everything else will fall into place,” she said.
Reba has rodeo roots.
She is from a rodeoing family and in 1974 sang the National Anthem at the National Finals Rodeo before going on to start her singing career in Nashville. “Rodeo is a generational comfort to me,” she said.
Reba has multiple animals at her Tennessee home ranch.
“We have three donkeys, two horses, many cats, and two longhorn steers, “ Reba said.
