Danny Trejo figures prominently in the cast of the edgy indie Western set for a Jan. 12 release.
A frontier lawman partners with a Native American detective at the tail end of the 1800s to hunt down a murderous band of outlaws known as the Rufus Buck Gang in The Night They Came Home, a new indie Western from Lionsgate that will be available in select theaters, on demand and digital Jan. 12.
Brian Austin Green, Tim Abell, Charlie Townsend, Robert Carradine, and Danny Trejo head the cast of director Paul G. Volk’s drama, which is based on real-life events that occurred in the Indian Territory of the Arkansas/Oklahoma area between July 1895, when the gang killed U.S. Deputy Marshal John Garrett near Okmulgee, and July 1896, when they were sentenced to death by “hanging judge” Isaac Parker in Fort Smith, Ark.
