Wrangler brings a new meaning to “Long live the cowboy” by taking the field alongside the Dallas Cowboys for a multiyear sponsorship.
Long hailed as the king of denim, Wrangler is taking the field as the official jeans of the Dallas Cowboys. The collaboration between the iconic Western brand and the iconic sports franchise was made official on Tuesday, August 1 at the stomping grounds of the football team —AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Paying homage to the state that both call home, Wrangler and the Dallas Cowboys will be taking the Lone Star State by storm with a celebration of cowboy culture. An in-store promotion of Wrangler products in Texas-based retail locations on Wednesdays all season long is just one of the activations Cowboys fans can expect.
The multiyear sponsorship promises a plethora of adventures, including a behind-the-field look with some of the team’s biggest players, cheerleaders, and flag- team members. Fans can also look forward to a free monthly summer concert series, “Sounds of the Star presented by Wrangler” at the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters and practice facility in Frisco, Texas.
“The ethos of the Wrangler brand is already inherently embedded in the lifestyle of Cowboys players and fans. It is clear we are simply honoring a shared bond and mutual fandom displayed inside and outside our stadium for years,” says John Hickman, vice president of business development for the Dallas Cowboys. “It is going to be fun to watch the fans embrace this sponsorship by one of denim’s most iconic brands.”
The world-renowned football team has been a staple of Texas pride since it burst onto the field in 1960 as an NFL expansion team. The Dallas Cowboys wasted no time making their mark on football history with eight appearances at the Super Bowl, a record tied only with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The team moved to the luxurious AT&T Stadium in 2009, where it continues to enjoy a devoted fanbase in the heart of Texas.
Cowboys fans looking to elevate their game-day style can shop for Wrangler denim in retail locations across Texas or online at Wrangler.com, and can follow them on Instagram to stay up-to-date on the latest Dallas Cowboys content.
