Season 2 of the well-received MGM+ series will kick off Oct. 15.
Actor Tom Blyth is back in the saddle again for Season 2 of Billy the Kid, the well-received Western series set to return Oct. 15 on MGM+ (the streaming service formerly known as Epix).
Blyth — who’ll soon be seen as the young Coriolanus Snow in the Hunger Games prequel The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes — joins series creator, writer and executive producer Michael Hirst for a second stretch of storytelling about the legendary outlaw. Four episodes will air, through Nov. 5, before the series takes a hiatus until 2024. And if you missed Season 1, don’t fret: Those episodes also are available for binging on MGM+.
According to the official MGM+ announcement: “The epic romantic adventure inspired by the life of America’s most infamous outlaw continues in Season 2, as Billy and his allies square off against his oldest friend Jesse Evans and the corrupt powers of the Santa Fe Ring. When shots are fired, the conflict erupts into the bloody Lincoln County War. Amidst the fighting, Billy will struggle to hang onto his soul — and to the love of his life.”
We spoke with Tom Blyth in the C&I Studio prior to the premiere season of Billy the Kid. (In other words, way, way before the current SAG-AFTRA strike.) Just in case you tuned in late…
