The Yuletide season recording will be released Friday.
It’s beginning to sound a lot like Christmas. And here’s the latest indication that Santa soon will be on his way: The legendary Oak Ridge Boys have joined county music stars T.G. Sheppard and Kelly Lang for their new version of the Irving Berlin standard, “White Christmas.”
“It’s always special when getting the chance to sing with icons,” says Sheppard. “Being in the studio singing ‘White Christmas’ with the mighty Oak Ridge Boys will always be one of my favorite memories. When it comes to friends and harmony, it doesn’t get any better than The Oaks.”
Lang, Shepard’s wife and frequent collaborator, agrees: “‘White Christmas’ has always been one of my favorite songs. Having the opportunity to stand beside The Oak Ridge Boys and sing it with them and T.G. was a bucket list moment. Christmas came early for me this year by being in the studio singing with them.”
This new take on “White Christmas” will be available starting Friday wherever you buy your music.
