Get ready for another shoot-‘em-up from filmmaker Michael Feifer, director of A Soldier’s Revenge and Catch the Bullet — Last Shoot Out, a gritty western tale of love, betrayal, and revenge starring Bruce Dern (The Cowboys, Badland), Cam Gigandet (Twilight, The Magnificent Seven), Michael Welch (The Twilight Franchise, TV’s Z Nation) and newcomer Skylar Witte. Set to premiere Dec. 3 in limited theatrical release and on digital platforms, the indie production will be released Dec. 7 on DVD and Blu-Ray.
The plot pivots on the efforts of gunman Billy Tyson (Brock Harris of TV’s Major Crimes) to protect a newlywed (newcomer Skylar Witte) who’s on the run after learning her father-in-law (Dern) had her lawman dad killed to protect Jody (Welch), her new husband (Welch). Gigandet plays Sid Callahan, Jody’s quick-drawing brother, who never aims to please — especially when it’s a family matter.
