One of the premier Western art events in the world, Briscoe Western Art Museum’s Night of Artists Exhibition and Sale is underway.
To mark the 20th anniversary of the event that sparked the museum’s creation, the museum is expanding its signature exhibition and sale with a first: a hybrid event that includes online and in-person celebrations. An online catalog, virtual gallery tours, and a livestreamed celebration allow Western art lovers to participate anywhere from San Antonio’s River Walk to wherever they happen to be linking in virtually.
You can get in on the action with the online auction, which kicked off on March 13, the Grand Live Auction on March 27, and the Public Exhibition and Sale from March 28 to May 9.
The sale and exhibition includes more than 250 new works of painting, sculpture, and mixed media by more than 75 of today’s leading contemporary Western artists. The works feature scenic landscapes, inspired Native Americans, classic cowboys, stunning wildlife, and detailed portraiture, offering something for every art collector and enthusiast.
