The “Yellowstone” star provides the voice for a faithful canine in “The Art of Racing in the Rain.”
And now for something completely different: Academy Award-winner and C&I reader favorite Kevin Costner will be going to the dogs in his next major motion picture. No kidding.
Costner provides the voice for Enzo, a witty and philosophical dog who becomes the faithful companion to Denny Swift (Milo Ventimiglia), an aspiring Formula One race car driver, in The Art of Racing in the Rain. Based on Garth Stein’s bestselling novel and directed by Simon Curtis (Goodbye Christopher Robin), the Fox 2000 production — which costars Amanda Seyfried, Gary Cole, Kathy Baker, and Martin Donovan — will be released August 9 by the Walt Disney Studios.
You can hear Costner getting his canine on in this trailer.
