Eat like you’re dining in a high-end steakhouse at home with quality steaks (and more) available for shipping nationwide.
The mail-order meat business has a serious new player. Knife Butcher from chef John Tesar, opened this week at the Shops at Willow Bend in Plano, Texas. This latest spin-off concept of Tesar's acclaimed Knife steakhouse in Dallas is sandwiched between the second Knife steakhouse and Knife Burger, and gives customers the chance to order the same cuts of meat from the same purveyors Tesar uses at his restaurants from the comfort of their homes via nationwide shipping.
The beef we’re talking about here comes from 44 Farms, Creekstone, and Heartbrand and includes filets, coulotte, aged rib-eyes, and more. Splurge on the 240-day aged bone-in rib-eye, a rich cut that has the punch of blue cheese with the fine tender texture of well-marbled beef. Alongside steaks are Tesar’s popular bacon tasting flight, bacon jam, and pimento cheese. An array of Yeti products and Tesar’s 2017 cookbook, Knife: Texas Steakhouse Meals at Home, are also available.

“I’m passionate about empowering the at-home chef with the tools they need to recreate Knife-quality meals in their own kitchen,” Tesar said in a press release announcing Knife Butcher’s opening. “With my cookbook, Knife: Texas Steakhouse Meals at Home, I shared tons of recipes and techniques for working with meat, and now I’m taking it to the next level by giving people access to the very same steaks that are served at Knife.”
