A few of Ole Red’s favorite menu items and a recipe for their signature Cumberland Punch.
We gather some of the best food and drinks from Blake Shelton’s Ole Red restaurant. From summer sippers like the Tishomingo Sunset to traditional Southern favorites like fried chicken, there’s a food and beverage pairing for everyone.
Redneck Nachos — made with kettle chips, chicken, cheese, and barbecue sauce.
Tishomingo Sunset — with a blend of whiskey, moonshine, and more.
The Champagne of Fried Chicken — marinated with Miller High Life.
Cumberland Punch — with rum, pineapple liqueur, and, get this, an edible orchid (see the recipe below)
Ole Red Frosecco — a coconut rum, prosecco, and Red Bull Red concoction.
Big Soft Pretzel — served with “that white cheese stuff” (Shelton’s words, not ours)
Cumberland Punch
1½ ounces Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva (or your preferred dark rum)
½ ounce Combier (or your preferred triple sec)
¼ ounce Giffard Caribbean Pineapple Liqueur (or your preferred pineapple liqueur)
½ ounce orgeat
¼ ounce fresh lime juice
4 dashes Angostura bitters
Shake well and strain over ice into a double rocks glass. Garnish with orchid and pineapple wedge.
