On March 5, Yeti opened its flagship store in the hip haven of Austin, Texas. The massive 8,000-square-foot space, located on the city’s most popular retail strip, South Congress Avenue, is just as awesomely music-loving and outdoor-adventurous as the city itself.
True to the laid-back active lifestyle the brand was founded upon, the space — equipped with an indoor-outdoor bar, a stage for concerts, and an area exclusively for customizing your own Yeti products — feels more like a welcoming hangout spot than an actual retail store.
But don’t think all the welcoming extras detract from the shopping experience. On the contrary. This one-stop for Yeti products has all of the fan-favorites and more — from its tough-as-nails coolers and bull-proof ramblers to bumper stickers, T-shirts, baseball hats, and a whole host of other Yeti accessories.
