The Grammy Award-winning country band will headline a rousing New Year's Eve celebration.
You can’t keep a great band down. The COVID-19 pandemic has put a damper on most live concerts originally scheduled for New Year’s Eve. But the iconic country band Alabama is taking a unique approach to upholding the ages-old showbiz tradition: The show must go on.
The Grammy Award-winning Country Music Hall of Famers declared Tuesday that they are teaming with Camping World for a virtual concert set to stream live starting at 9 pm ET/8 pm CT this Thursday, Dec. 31. Virtual concertgoers can access the performance at ultimatervshow.com.
While revealing their plans to ring in 2021, Alabama founding members Jeff Cook, Teddy Gentry and Randy Owen released the following joint statement:
“What better way to start the New Year than to have a free concert on New Year's Eve for our fans around the world? We are pleased that Marcus Lemonis and our friends at Camping World are presenting this special performance from Nashville, Tennessee. We cannot wait to get back on tour soon, and want to see you in-person. Sit back, relax, crank up the sound and 'ROLL ON' into 2021. Wishing you a very happy New Year.”
