RFD-TV’s THE AMERICAN RODEO presented by Durango Boots is the result of a full-year of work. Qualifying events are held across the country, throughout the calendar year, as ropers and riders hope to compete in Arlington during “the world’s richest weekend in Western Sports!”

The annual two-day event is held at the Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX, and unites the top athletes in the world from the PRCA and pits them against underdogs who advance from THE AMERICAN RODEO Semi-Finals, together to battle for the biggest single, life-changing paycheck of their lives.

THE SIDE POT
THE AMERICAN RODEO invites the top rodeo athletes in seven events from the PRCA to compete for a $2.3 million purse in the home of the Dallas Cowboys. Anyone can qualify via the Semi-Finals and any contestant who advances to THE AMERICAN and out-rides or out-ropes the sport’s super stars is eligible for an additional $1 million bonus.
