Barbara Van Cleve has been photographing cattle and the West for more than 70 years. This is the first exhibition to feature the breadth of her subject matter, including her Rodeo as Dance series, dramatic portraits using the moon and stars as a light source, and her documentation of the Spanish Mission Trail in Baja California—a project that took more than two decades to complete. A fully illustrated publication of the same title accompanies the exhibition of 65 black-and-white images.
