Who says it takes forever to finish a masterpiece? At the National Museum of Wildlife Art’s Plein Air Fest, more than 50 participating artists will disperse throughout the valley to each complete a fresh work outdoors, which can then be purchased in a silent auction. There is also live music, food, a variety of outdoor games and activities for kids, and Ranger Doug will be on hand to talk about the display of vintage national park posters. Now in its fifth year, the festival takes place in the museum and its sculpture trail overlooking Jackson Hole’s scenic National Elk Refuge.
