The show features paintings and sculpture by two Colorado artists whose work is inspired by an intimate connection with nature. The artists will be present at the reception from 5:00 -7:30PM.
The show continues through November.
Gerald Balciar is interested in portraying a mood or feeling of his sculptures rather than creating exact replicas of his subject. His art is noted for its readily identifiable style, which is grounded in an in-depth knowledge of animals, their behaviors and habitat.
Jim Bagley is ever alert to the awesome colors and forms of the dramatic interactions between land and sky in the West. He travels to places most others drive around, fly over or otherwise ignore, to locate and document in paint the splendor of the undiscovered and undeveloped to keep it from being unvalued.
