The old west comes alive as Golden will once again be hosting its annual Buffalo Bill Days celebration July 25-28, 2019. There’s something for everyone in the family including a traditional pancake breakfast, “Best of the West” parade, Cody’s Wild West extravaganza, kids vs. sheep Muttin’ Bustin’ contest and a classic car show. All this along with amusement rides for the kids -  and merchandise, food vendors and live musical entertainment throughout the entire weekend.

The event dates back to the 1940's as a trail ride up Lookout Mountain to Buffalo Bill's grave. The Buffalo Bill Days committee has expanded activities through the years to where it is now the largest annual community festival held in Golden. The event draws people from many surrounding communities who enjoy bringing their families to a wholesome, small-town community event.

About Buffalo Bill Days

Buffalo Bill Days is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization that gives back to the local community by donating to several Golden groups including Golden High School, the Golden Backpack Program and the Be-a-Tool neighborhood rehab project to name a few.
