You can only be inspired by what you see when in Santa Fe. Capture that feeling forever during this 2-day workshop with Martha Kellar at Sorrel Sky Gallery. Martha has worked as a professional artist since 1979. Initially painting in only pastels, she began using oils in 1989. She now works mostly in that medium to create still lifes, figurative works and landscapes. From her earliest memories, she has loved, and has been challenged by, drawing and painting. Her hope is to share this love, her methods and ideas with others. This workshop will focus on oils, as their forgiving nature is an ideal medium for practicing new concepts and techniques. Students will be aided to better visualize their composition with the intelligent use of light, form and color. This class is designed for beginner to intermediate.
