Mark your calendars: The American Rodeo, powered by Teton Ridge, is headed back to Arlington, Texas for Championship Weekend on May 22–23, 2026.
The high-stakes Western sports event will once again take over Globe Life Field, bringing the top rodeo athletes in the world together for two unforgettable days of competition, courage, and crowd-roaring moments.
Now in its 13th year, The American Rodeo has become one of the crown jewels of Western sports. Following a record-setting 2025 season — which saw more than 1,000 athletes compete and nearly $5 million in prize money awarded — the 2026 edition is already building anticipation for even bigger moments and bolder performances.
A Look Back at 2025
The 2025 Championship Weekend brought together 180 athletes from four countries and 31 U.S. states, ranging in age from 11 to 53. The competition saw remarkable returns from legends like eight-time World Champion Stetson Wright, Kaycee Feild, and Luke Branquinho. It also delivered breakout moments, including 11-year-old barrel racing prodigy Dusky Lynn Hall and Rocker Steiner’s thrilling win in bareback riding.
Fans filled the stands at Globe Life Field — over 30,000 strong — and over 1.7 million viewers tuned in across FOX, FS1, and FS2 to catch 16+ hours of live coverage. Digital engagement shattered previous records, with more than 18.7 million video views.
