CNFR is Casper, Wyoming’s Super Bowl, and the 25th anniversary only happens once. That means we are going all out this June.
This year officially marks 25 years of College National Finals Rodeo being hosted in the one and only Casper, Wyoming, and we don’t take that lightly. Being in the heart of Wyoming, Casper has some special flavor to it, and it’s clear that we draw inspiration from every corner of our wondrous state. But when CNFR rolls around every year, Casper’s cowboy culture comes out in full force, and the town rallies behind one of the nation’s largest and most notorious rodeos in the country.
In 2023, the CNFR experienced record-breaking attendance, and all signs point to us breaking that record again in 2024. As rodeo continues to grow and gain traction across the U.S., that means more fans, better athletes, and more entertaining competition. With over 400 of the top collegiate athletes competing at CNFR, there’s truly no better event, and certainly no better destination, to enjoy the thrill and growth of rodeo. CNFR is one of those rare events that you must experience for yourself, and once you do, you’ll come to realize that it’s more than just a rodeo. This unique event is a celebration of a Western tradition; it instills cowboy ethics into young athletes and helps fans connect to something that was once so prominent in our region's history.
We invite you to join us in Casper, Wyoming, June 9 – 15th to celebrate the sport of rodeo. Revel in all the iconic moments as we crown national champions in saddle bronc, bronc riding, bareback riding, bull riding, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, team roping, barrel racing, breakaway roping, and goat tying. Purchase your tickets in advance at CNFR.com or at the door.
We also invite you to enjoy everything Casper has to offer outside of the arena and to make time to explore the miles of trails on Casper Mountain, a scenic sunset on a pontoon out at Alcova Reservoir, a trek in a covered pioneer wagon on the ruts of the Oregon Trail with Historic Trails West, or cast a fly rod in the famous North Platte River. Plan your trip at VisitCasper.com.
