The Yellowstone spinoff will begin its encore presentation Dec. 8.
Maybe we should just start calling it Sheridanday instead of Sunday and get it over with.
Consider: This Sunday, Nov. 10, Yellowstone, the mothership in producer Taylor Sheridan’s TV universe, returns for a six-episode “final cycle” on Paramount Network. One week later, on Nov. 17, Paramount+ will premiere Landman, a new Sheridan-produced series starring Billy Bob Thornton as a Texas-based oil company’s crisis manager. That same evening, Season 2 of Tulsa King, Sheridan’s highly addictive mob comedy-drama starring Sylvester Stallone, will conclude on Paramount+. A third season has already been promised.
Meanwhile, Lioness, the Sheridan-produced spy thriller starring Zoe Saldaña as a resourceful CIA operative, will continue to drop new episodes on Paramount + every Sunday through Dec. 8.
And also on Dec. 8, the eight-episode first season of 1923, Sheridan’s Yellowstone spin-off starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren, will start rerunning on Paramount Network. (Season 1 originally ran on Paramount+ — where, of course, it’s still available for streaming.) Episode 101 of 1923 will air that evening immediately after a new episode of Yellowstone.
Paramount has announced Season 2 of 1923 currently is in production. A premiere date has yet to be determined. But we’ll bet dollars to doughnuts that it will be a Sunday.
