The American Western Weekend roars back into North Texas on April 11 and 12, 2025, promising the biggest rodeo payouts and hottest showdowns of the year. But there’s much more than what happens on the dirt.
This year, Teton Ridge is inviting singers from all around the West to submit their best video performances. Whoever wins over the judges and the voters in the end will receive the chance of a lifetime — a trip to the rodeo and a slot performing during The American Western Weekend.
The winner will be added to a star-studded slate of entertainment featuring Riley Green and Bailey Zimmerman.
How to Enter
- Find a quiet filming spot at home or outdoors where you can either accompany yourself on a chosen instrument or sing a capella.
- Film yourself singing one of your own original songs — or, if you don’t write songs, you can perform “The Star-Spangled Banner,” “God Bless America,” or “America The Beautiful.”
- Keep the video’s length no longer than four minutes. You are only allowed one submission.
- Submit your video between 12 a.m. EST January 6 and 12 a.m. EST February 21.
- All entries will be evaluated on the categories of originality, creativity, musical skill, and video quality. Make sure your chosen background is worthy of your performance.
- Twenty semi-finalists will be chosen by judges, followed by an online and social-media voting period to determine the finalists and ultimate winner.Visit Teton Ridge and enter today!
