The six-part series will provide intimate portraits of Adan Banuelos along with other Western icons.
Leading Western sports and entertainment brand Teton Ridge continues to capture the spirit of Western culture with Window to the West, a six-part short film series that delves into the background and aspirations of Western movers and shakers.
Premiering September 23, the first episode of the docuseries dives into the life and career of National Cutting Horse Association Hall of Famer Adan Banuelos. Episode 1, titled “Horse Sense,” will follow the iconic horseman through his back-to-back wins at the American Performance Horseman event and dig into his upbringing and road to success.
My family has been doing this from day one, passing down a recipe book of experience. From a very young age, I knew this was something I would do forever. I’m excited to share a small window into my journey, portraying how horses can change one’s life and how we can improve theirs along the way. — Adan Banuelos
The first episode will be presented by leading Western design company Brumbaugh’s Furniture and Design, a huge supporter of Banuelos and the Western culture at large. “Adan has been an integral part of the Brumbaugh’s family, sharing our passion for the traditions and values of the American West,” said Sally Brumbaugh, Owner of Brumbaugh’s Furniture and Design. “This partnership with Teton Ridge showcases a unique blend of craftsmanship and artistry, celebrating the rich heritage of this story. We are excited to be a part of the beauty and spirit of this timeless landscape.”
In celebration of the docuseries’ release, Teton Ridge will be hosting two exclusive preview screenings in September, one in the heart of the Big Apple during New York Fashion Week and the other at Teton Ridge’s own TR9 Ranch in Weatherford, Texas. Both premieres will include activations from supporting partners such as Bloomer Trailers, Tito’s Vodka, and Kemo Sabe.
The remaining five episodes will focus on athletes, musicians, craftsmen, artists, and other trailblazers that have made their mark on the West. The 15-minute episodes will become available in the coming months on Teton Ridge’s multiple social and digital channels, including TR+, Fast Channel, and YouTube.
“With “Window to the West,” we aim to bring the stories of Western culture’s most influential figures to a broader audience, showcasing the authenticity, resilience, and creativity that define the region’s icons,” said Deirdre Lester, CEO of Teton Ridge. “This series is a tribute to the people who live and breathe the Western way of life, and we are excited to share their stories with the world.”
