Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and the history of Hispanic artisans at Tony Lama.
Hispanic Heritage Month, September 15 to October 15, is a vibrant tribute to the rich culture, history, and contributions of the Hispanic community. This celebration recognizes the diverse experiences of these communities, encompassing their languages, traditions, art, and accomplishments.
Tony Lama is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with a short film featuring individuals who embody these values. El Hijo De El Paso highlights a charro’s dedication to his craft and legacy, a previous advertising director who helped shape the Tony Lama brand, Tony Lama’s grandson, and artisans from the El Paso factory. These artisans demonstrate pride and dedication in their work, embodying Tony Lama’s legacy.
Since the inception of the brand in 1911, the Hispanic culture has made countless contributions to the brand and the growth of the company. In turn, the company has worked closely with the neighboring community, contributing to the families located in the border town. This dedication to the community and family has led to Tony Lama being considered by some as el hijo de El Paso (the son of El Paso).
Tony Lama takes pride in each pair of boots being meticulously crafted and made with the finest leathers by the most experienced artisans, 99% of whom are Hispanic. Similarly, the Hispanic culture is dedicated to their work and their legacy.
Many of the values that are valued and celebrated during Hispanic Heritage Month ring true within Tony Lama, and we celebrate this heritage, culture, and legacy that has been built by El Hijo de El Paso.
