Just one month after Far Haven, the veteran actor will return to Westerns with The Warrant: Breaker's Law.
For those of you who just can’t get enough of Bruce Boxleitner — and we know who you are, so don’t try to be coy about — we have some great news: Less than a month after tonight’s premiere on the Cowboy Way streaming channel of Far Haven, the veteran actor will be straight-shooting once again in another Western: The Warrant: Breaker’s Law, a sequel to the well-received 2020 drama starring Neal McDonough as lawman John Breaker.
Set to premiere Oct. 1 on INSP, the new film introduces Boxleitner as John’s father, Judge Thaddeus, who’s dead set on protecting the bank in his frontier town of Absolum’s Hill from predatory outlaws. Seriously outgunned but resolutely steadfast, Judge Thaddeus asks for help when John and his Indigenous deputy Bugle Bearclaw (Gregory Cruz) arrive in town to drop off a prisoner. Complications arise, however, as even John warns his dad against standing up to a notorious bandit like Yule Bronson (Dermot Mulroney).
In this video, Boxleitner guides us through the on-location filming of The Warrant: Breaker’s Law at the Mescal Movie Set — not incidentally, the same place where most of Far Haven was shot.
